Hilary Swanson is a skilled family historian and founder and principal genealogist at Hello Genealogy. She has been passionate about family history for over 20 years.
Hilary's skills are not just a hobby. She strives to continually learn and progress as a leader in her field. Hilary holds two bachelor's of science degrees in engineering and construction management and worked for many years in the construction industry. Later she earned a certificate through Boston University's program in Genealogical Research. She also completed the rigorous 18-month study program ProGen. Hilary now acts as a project coordinator for current ProGen participants.
Hilary is a member of many genealogical groups and societies such as the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society and the Indiana Historical Society. She is also a regular attendee of many genealogy institutes and conferences.
Hilary Swanson has a love for detective novels, logic puzzles, and family mysteries.
